Students Create, You Curate: Sharing Digital Submissions with Padlet

I was blown away by the effort, creativity and final output represented by these 'digital adventures' created by my 8th graders for the short story, "The Most Dangerous Game."   I wanted to showcase these digital adventures easily within and without of our doman.. To do this, I used Padlet. It's easy to set up and achieves the purpose I was seeking. The link to the Padlet is only accessible within or domain but you get the idea from the image below.

If you have other ideas to showcase student work, specifically, media projects, please, let me know! Also, if you have any feedback regarding the rules of sharing student work with the world at large, let it rip!

About 4000 Words in 45 Minutes: Grading Electronically

So I'm trying to get a bit smoother with grading online. I love it because, well, it's easy, organized and I don't have a million papers slopping around in my bag. This is a quick screencast that demos how, after 'ingesting' Google Classroom assignments using Doctopus, I can grade using Goobric lickity split, well for me anyway!

The assignment was a 200 word writing prompt from 20 students. Some student entries are less than 200 and a few are more, not many. It took about 45 minutes from top to bottom to get through all of the assignments. I felt alright about the time I put it.  It worked for me and I know I'll get faster with commenting, feedback, and entering grades.

If you have some tips or are a master at grading electronically, I would love to hear about it!
